Booking Terms & Conditions
The Lodge Polgooth
These terms apply to all bookings made directly through our website or by contacting us.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once:

The required deposit or full payment has been received, and
-
A confirmation email has been issued.
The person making the booking must be over 18 years of age and agrees to these terms on behalf of all guests.
2. Payments
-
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before arrival.

Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival require full payment immediately.
Payments may be made via secure online payment, bank transfer, or other agreed methods.
3. Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 60 days before arrival.

Cancellations made less than 60 days before arrival are charged the total booking amount.
We strongly recommend guests take out suitable travel insurance.
4. Arrival and Departure

Check-in: between 3:00pm and 7:00pm
-
Check-out: between 7:00am and 10:00am
Alternative arrangements may be possible by prior agreement.
5. Occupancy
The Lodge accommodates the number of guests stated in the booking confirmation only. Subletting or additional guests are not permitted.

6. Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:

Take reasonable care of the property and its contents

Leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition

Report any damage or issues promptly
Guests may be responsible for the cost of any loss or damage beyond normal wear and tear.
7. Smoking and Pets

Smoking is not permitted inside the property.

Pets are not allowed
8. Liability
We cannot accept responsibility for:

Loss or damage to personal belongings
-
Accidents or injuries occurring during your stay, except where caused by our negligence

Circumstances beyond our control (including weather, travel disruption, or utility failure)
9. Right to Refuse or Terminate Stay
We reserve the right to terminate a stay without refund if guests behave in a way that causes damage, disturbance, or risk to the property or neighbours.

10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
